If you are looking for a nice horse to use on the ranch or ride on trails, one that is gentle, well broke and sure to turn heads everywhere you take her, then check out Splash. She is a 14 year old tri-color paint mare, 14.3hh and extremely well built with a big hip, pretty head with a kind eye, and tons of chrome with her flashy color and long, thick mane and tail. Splash is extremely gentle with excellent ground manners, and she loves people and attention. She has been used for all phases of ranch work, including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, and checking fence, and has spent some time in the feedyard. She has also been ridden English and has carried a flag in parades. Splash is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. She has a very good handle, one handed neck rein, will sidepass and move off your leg. She rides quietly on a loose rein, has nice smooth gaits, is good on both leads, and will work a gate. Splash is not mare-ish and can be ridden next to or turned out with other mares and gelding without issue. She has never offered to buck, rear, bite kick or take off, and is suitable for advanced beginner riders and up. She has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
