Description:
‼️MOTIVATED TO SELL, MAKE OFFERS‼️Grit is a 15.2hh 2015 red roan gelding by Streakin Hotrod (1D barrel horse and rope horse) and out of Passum Tigger (daughter of Title Contender). A grandson of Streakin Six (Earner of $473,934 and the Sire of 75 Stakes Winners and earners of more than $17,000,000). Grit was broke out as a 2 year old and was ridden on and off until last year when he spent 120 days with Morford Performance Horses in Kansas for some solid riding and buttons. He does like to look around when taken to new places and would benefit from more exposure. He’s very easy to ride and moves great off of voice and slight pressure. Light in the mouth, big stop, and is getting good with his roll backs. He is a sweetheart and always the first to meet you in the pasture. I sent him to training with the intention of starting him on barrels for myself and keeping. However, life got in the way and I’ve decided I’ll be going to college this fall. I love riding him, but I won’t be able to give him the time he deserves. Stands for farrier and has always been barefoot. Utd on shots and current coggins. He is an easy keeper and requires no maintenance. Had his teeth done in June 2021. He is at a perfect age to be started in any direction! He can be ridden daily or sit for months and will act the same each time. He does have a cosmetic scar from getting a rope caught around his left back leg. 100% sound on it and never has been lame, of course vet checks are welcome at buyers expense! $7,500 obo.
