Description:
Benjum is a cool strawberry roan draft cross. His sire was a Belgian, and his dam was a quarter horse. He is one of a kind, with one of the best minds you can have on a horse. He is a people horse, likes to meet you at the gate, and loves attention. We have used him ranching pushing cows and roping. He is very cowy! He has a nice walk to him and he can keep his pace all day long. We have used him hunting. He has led the pack string and also been packed, but where he really shined is taking inexperienced riders into the rough country, they don’t make a better dude horse. He is also broke to drive. I bought him from an Amish gentleman that told me you can’t hook up wrong, and I believe him. There hasn’t been anything that we wouldn’t do for me. He is good with time off and alway going to be the same horse. He is great to trailer, shoe and tie. The whole family loves him. Benjum will come with a completed pre-purchase exam.
