Cowboy looking red roan that is built like a bulldog! Pokerchip is Gentle! Gentle! Gentle! We have done a little bit of everything on this cool gelding. He takes it all in stride. He is eager and willing to go do a days work or just leisurely cruise down the trail. This gelding has been extremely easy and receptive to train and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. You can back him in the box and rope steers all day or rope and doctor one in the pasture and he will work the rope and hold strong from the horn. Pokerchip stays cool, calm and collected. He is uncomplicated to ride and point and go style. He’s been ridden in rough country catching wild cows as well as along a busy highway with loud, constant traffic. Pokerchip is fancy enough for the ranch foreman, handy for a day working cowboy, honest for weekend roper or solid for someone just wanting a really nice pleasure horse. He is the same every trip and doesn’t need daily riding to stay trained.
