WOW! This 2 year old colt has impressed his owner, trainer and breeder. Joes Okie Whiskey aka Amarillo has had 90 days at the trainers. He is soft, responds well to leg pressure, really wants to please. He is easy to handle as well. Trainer said this colt is EXTREMELY smart. You show him once he does it 2nd time. He rides and acts like something that has had 2x as many days as 90 put on him. He is 14.3 hands now roughly and expect him to be 15-15.1 hands. He did see some flag work right at the end of 90 days. I can put you in touch with the trainer for further information. 60 day video is available. We forgot to get any 90 day video. He is still a STALLION. So keep him as a prospect or geld. He has color, brains, pedigree, bone and size.

Amarillo is out of Paddys Gin Sage JW. She is a 14.3 hand big boned, thick stout mare. She was ridden and used for a few years before she had Amarillo, her first foal. She is a very smart, quick and catty mare.

Amarillo is by Joes Okie Blue. Okie was a very proven stallion for several years producing many ranch, rope and barrel horses. He passed on bone, hip, solid feet, great minds, speed and easy going dispositions. Okie passed away summer of 2019 so unfortunately there will be no more offspring. He was a beautiful grandson of Watch Joe Jack. Watch Joe Jack was one of the top earning sons of Two Eyed Jack. He was a great broodmare sire and had the look and bone to be versatile enough to go from halter to roping.
