Description:
Big pretty black gelding that has been a million miles on the ranch. He is double tough and can cover way more country in a day than most. He has spent a couple years on the East Beaver Creek Cattle Association where he has learned a true work ethic and had to earn his keep. He has packed salt, checked lots of fence, moved cattle around, doctored, and branded some as well. He is reliable to tie off to doctor and will do his part and keep ropes tight, and just knows all the basic ranch horse business. Good traveler that you don’t have to peddle all day. Stands 15.2 and will weight 1250+, sturdy built with good foot and bone, keen head, and plenty of eye appeal. We ave roped a few steers in the arena as well and there is certainly potential to go that direction, but most of his use has been on the mountain. Video is from last summer but gives a good idea what he is like. He is a little heavier currently. This line of horses is a little slow maturing and we can really see where he has developed some over the winter. Excellent withers. This gelding will hold your saddle in place even in tough country.

This gelding was Lot 35 in our 2019 private Production and Gelding sale. Due to a superficial injury we withdrew him from the sale last fall and chose to keep him through the winter. He is 100% sound and ready to go to work now!
