Description:
Outstanding pair of double mounted spurs by the late Jerry Cates. They were made for Bruce McGinnis of Amarillo, Tex. 11.15.83 and so marked. Bruce McGinnis was a noted Panhandle author that wrote some western history and passed in 2014. Spurs are marked CATES 912. The leathers are Bob Marrs marked. Great bit of cowboy history about this pair with 1 3/4" rowels, 2 3/4" shanks, 3 1/4" heel openings, 3/4" bands. Made in the Crockett 125 pattern. We pay shipping within the 48 states.
