Description:
Very rare offering of OX marked bit and spurs presented in 1974 to winners at the famous Roaring Springs rodeo. Mr. Bayers made them through 1972.

Billy Klapper made them in 1973. 1974 was Jerry Cates first year and he went on made them for several more years. This is Jerry Cates first mark, OX. Both in lightly or never used condition. Bit: 7 1/2" cheeks and 5 1/4" mouth. Spurs: 1" rowels, 2" shanks, 1" bands, 3 1/4" heel openings. One of the most collectible sets I have seen.
