Extensive measures are taken in the production of our COASTAL BERMUDA GRASS hay to assure horse owners the quality they deserve. We do not broker this hay or have it shipped in from foreign regions. Our hay is grown on premium coastal fields locally and the supply is large with over 100,000 square bales each year from the same general location so your animal can stay on a consistent feed program and not risk colic due to sudden change of forage. We are actively involved in the production of this hay and do not depend on trucks and farmers from far away states for our supply. We fertilize and spray our fields for weeds. This allows a nice, clean grass that provides optimum nutrition to your equine and no waste in the bale. We cut this hay at a desirable length so the grass has a soft texture that is appeasing to equine and at its absolute highest nutrient content. This pure coastal grass is the safest way to feed your animals to avoid foundering and issues such as toxic blister beetles and kidney irritation. Square bales are two-string tied and will be tight, solid and have lots of volume per bale with perfect flakes making feeding easy. Square bales are sold in 21 bale increments only. For ease of handling, shipping and storing we bundle square bales in a bale that resembles a 3X4X8, however, it is 21 small square bales neatly and tightly packed so all you do is cut the string when you are ready to feed and your individual bales will be ready to be moved. These bundles are super easy to handle with a tractor or skid steer and save your labor bill. They are so nice and customers have thoroughly enjoyed this addition.
